Medical Home Project, a VT Medicaid initiative to explore expanding the chronic care
model into primary care practice. Taney, S., clinical advisor for one of four research medical practice sites in the state of Vermont. Through this initiative, developed and established a behavioral health specialist position at the Concord Health Center, the first in this part of the state. 2003-present

Duquette, S. and Taney, S. A program for women (1-2 days w 2-3 follow up sessions) focusing on stress awareness and understanding the hormonal and other biological responses to stress, with instruction in mindfulness techniques and healthy lifestyle/dietary choices.

Community Advisory Board of St. Johnsbury – 2003 to present
Medical Practitioner member. This board was formed to ensure quality programs and accurate information for the public in the establishment of a mobile methadone treatment program sponsored by the VT Department of Health and for the revision of the guidelines for the VT C.A.R.E.S. needle exchange program, the intention of which is to stop the spread of HIV, Hepatitis C and other blood born diseases.
